I am using Recorder 1 for security purposes and need recording nonstop when in Auto Record mode! Originally when I got this unit new last week it appeared to work for more than 2 hours. (Not sure) Now it will stop recording and will switch back to MAIN menu after about 2 Hours.

Is this normal behavior? Is there any work around? What should I do? I have purchased three units.

I have found a simular thing with the Recorder 1. I use it to record video on the run for which the solid state is perfect (no moving parts). The auto record is a perfect. I set up the recorder on the tv before I go out and then have the camera set up with a power switch. When I turn the power on to the camera the recorder starts recording automatic. It is so perfect BUT it now reverts back to the main menu when the camera is turned off, so when the camera comes back on nothing because its not in the record mode. It didn't do this at first. Is this a known bug? Sounds very simular to Stanley's problem.

this has been brought up before. i believe there is a limit to the filesize or length a file can be. I think there was discussion about getting this fixed. can someone verify this?
