First off, I would like to say how impressed I am that a company is this in-touch with it's customer base. My name is Adam and I run Diabolikal: http://www.diabolikal.org [We should be recieving review units of the Recorder 2 and the 442 soon, thanks to Johan. I am excited to check those products out!]. I would like to give you a little wishlist for your upcoming Neuros 3 player. Running a media, tech, and gadgets website, I have dealt with my fair share of DAPs and PMPs. What have I learned? The majority of companies rush some piece of crap player onto the market, with no thought to design, firmware, or implementation of features. So here is my 2 cents:

-Firmware:
-It has got to be FAST. For instance, my Philips GoGear 30GB
has good hardware, but it can take forever to navigate menus
during playback because of poor firmware.

-It must look good. Besides being pleasing to the eyes, a
simple, icon based interface enables easy use and little
strain to navigate to the correct menu or feature.

-Hardware:
-The player must be sturdily built, with as little plastic or
cheap material as possible. As with the 442, solid metal
with as few seperate parts as possible is preferred.

-While some manufacturers can implement touch-based
navigation well, it is probably better to stick to easier to
use tactile buttons.

-Features:
-If possible, FM and AM radios both implemented into the
player would provide choices for listening. I am not sure if
implementing AM radio into a DAP would be possible, because
I am not positive as to what type of antennae they use.

-Quality over quantity. For example, having a built in
wireless transmitter and wireless data transfers are
pointless if neither is implemented correctly.

That's about it. While I haven't used any of your products before, I should recieve the 442 from Johan once it has gone open source, and I look forward to this Neuros 3 prototype. On an off topic note, is there some product beta program I could get into?
Cheers,
-Adam
