I'm pretty techie, but I've never been able to get the unit to work at all. I have the recorder's input cable going to the out on my Dish TV box, and then out from the recorder going into the back of the TV. I get nothing. Just a blue screen. Nothing from the remote. I also tried the same configuration with my DVD player and still nothing. Any help is appreciated.

Confirm your remote is working. When you press the power button on the remote, does the Neuros splash screen come on? If not, if you have a digicam available, cellphone cam or webcam, view the remotes LED through one of these devices. Press any button on the remote. You should see the remote LED flashing. If not, it is the remote.

If that's the case, then it does appear to be the remote. I'll have to change the battery first and then the remote to see if it helps. Thanks.
