Title: Can someone post a sample video at highest quality
Post by: justMe on March 03, 2006, 05:54:20 PM
I am looking for a sample video from NR2 set at highest quality: 640x480, 30 fps, 2 mbps throughput.
And if possible from external bullet video camera as a source.

Before buying I just want to check if the highest quality is good enough when the source picture is changing rapidly (big delta frames)

Download a sample at www.olson-engineering.com under the Neuros link.

More video samples to come.

Video is from a Sony colour bullet cam at 480tv lines

Hmmmm. I hope it is the low light but if this is the highest quality it looks a bit poor. And the camera is not moving at all.

I can imagine how much more blurry it will be if used in a racing car with the scenery changing quick ...

I hope I am wrong ...

Actually Ex-Navy sent me some outstanding video of the Recorder 2 using a bullet camera and it was outstanding. I am happy to share normally but at the request of Ex-Navy it’s not for public downloading. You should ask him if he would be willing to share with you.

Thanks Keith for the compliment.
The video on my site is at night time around 11pm. The video is not moving at all. I will be posting some fast action video within the next week. I am awaiting a part so that the recorder and bullet cam can be mounted anywhere.
I will also post some hardware hacks as alot of you requested.
