Title: Battery In Remote Post by: fastcbx6(at)midsouth.rr.com on March 07, 2006, 05:50:34 PM Just got my recorder pluged it in pulled tab on remote to activate battery and the remote wont even turn machine off or on. The green light comes on when you plug it in but the remote will not turn it off? What the hell is the deal here. Is this brand new product sent to me with a bad remote control battery?

The remote is to turn the recorder on to get to the various functions--I know that sounds a little confusing, but if you only plugged it in w/o having your tv set up, the remote will appear to not be doing anything. Once you get your tv hooked up and set to the right channel, use the remote to turn the player on and you'll get the options screen.

A simple cheap verification of any remote working or not working is ..... If you want to see your remote working, point it at a webcam, or a digital cam and continue to press the remotes button. View the remote LED through webcam or digital cam's view. If you see the remotes LED flashing, then it works. quote:[8D] Ex-Navy |
