Title: Cannot copy files to 442 Post by: natesneat2000 on May 11, 2006, 05:29:04 AM My 442 seems to work fine, but after I plug it in via USB and try to copy ~300 MB TV shows, it stops about halfways and says: Error copying <file> Cannot find the specified file. After that, I cannot do anything on it: I cannot read folders, delete files, anything. It's like the connection is just lost. Unplugging USB and plugging back in always fixes it.
I have reformatted the drive in its menus. Thanks for any help. Perhaps the battery is losing power during the transfer. I have a USB hub with a separate power supply for when the computer can't supply enough power. That might help. I don't have any usb 2 hubs, but I might try my monitor's usb1.1--it should be powered.
