Title: Help us add a bunch of walkthroughs and info
Post by: Stereofoam on June 23, 2006, 04:50:33 PM
Hey, My name's Alex and currently I'm working on a collection of walkthroughs and how-to pages for Neuros, the topic being "Putting video onto handhelds and portables".

We have two goals in this project, first to show that the Recorder 2 is a superior way of getting things done, and second to provide a general resource to users and the web as a whole.  Generally, everybody wins when there is more information organized in a useful and central way.

The Wiki page is here:
http://www.theneuros.com/index.php/Tutorials_on_Putting_Video_on_Handhelds

you can see that it's designed to be favorable to our product, but we're also making sure that this is not at the expense of actual useful information.

So far I've built a few pages and we're going to continue work on them, but we'd also love for people to add their own articles.  Anyone is welcome to add an article, but we do ask that people not modify the information that's up right now, as it's still under heavy construction and it will get pretty confusing if things are changed while other things are being added.

If you're interested in writing an article, you can check out some of the articles, for example: http://www.theneuros.com/index.php/Using_3GP
and it should be easy to do a writeup of some method by just copying the format.  If you'd like to change it or expand on it, feel free.  If anyone has questions about this project, I'd love to have email from you.  Thanks!

Edit: also, we'd like to collect useful links as well as articles, so if you don't feel like writing something out, add a link to some external tutorial, that should be fine.
