Title: USB 2 again Post by: petersrin(at)gmail.com on July 18, 2006, 03:36:52 PM As with many others, USB 2 isn't recognized by Win XP Home. I followed instructions on other's pages: Reformat NAND, reinstall NSM, install NDBM, reformat HD, etc. to no avail. USB 1 seems to work fine. What is the next step?
Title: Re: USB 2 again Post by: Teh Internet Police on July 27, 2006, 10:49:39 AM When you plug your unit in with the USB2.0 connection, if you look under My Computer there is no mention of a hard drive other then C: ? Are you plugging the cable into a USB2.0 slot on your computer and not a USB1.1?
Neuros Team Title: Re: USB 2 again Post by: petersrin(at)gmail.com on July 28, 2006, 08:56:03 AM It is connected via USB 2.0. No mention of other drives, although it used to work properly. The problem started after the Neuros did a strange thing: I tried to start it up once, and the "busy" light just kept on blinking. It wouldn't stop, so I hit "up" an "play" to shut it down. Started again, and it turned on with no files on the system. Then no USB 2.0 synch. Sorry for not elaborating before. Thanks in advance.

Used to recognize USB 2.0, and now does not. What's the deal? Title: Re: USB 2 again Post by: mdt123 on September 06, 2006, 01:40:51 PM I know it's a pain, but I used to just uninstall NSM, reinstall and start everything over. Luckily, I haven't had a problem in a long time. It's annoying to have to go through the upgrades and re-register every time, but it usually fixed issues like this. Hope it works for you guys.
Title: Re: USB 2 again Post by: faisca on September 19, 2006, 05:25:51 PM I discovered that after plugging my Neuros unit into another computer via USB 2.0 (which recognized it), that MY computer began to recognized it once again. Not sure why, but maybe something on the Neuros was reinitialized. I'm still unable to synch it with NSM however. It just hangs in the initialization stage. USB 1.0 still works though. I will try reinstalling NSM. Also, I deleted the Neuors USB 2.0 driver and installed the WIN XP (generic mass storage device) one instead. Works a little better.
