Title: Help with my recorder

I connected the recorder to my tv but the menu wont come up.I dont think my remote is working.Does anybody have any suggestions

To check your remote, point the remote at a webcam or digital camera
lens. Look through the webcam or digicam when pressing a button.
If the remote LED flashes, then your remote is ok.
If not, request a remote

Not to be insulting or anything, but did you turn it on?

Since the N1 was essentially "always on," it is conceivable that someone could forget to turn the N2 on even though they are knowledgeable about technology.
