Title: How do you add/modify TITLE tag?
Post by: Harley on August 14, 2006, 03:53:16 PM
I love the Neuros Recorder2 since purchasing it about a month ago, but I have not been able to find any answers to one question:

How do you set the title? Not the file name. I understand about the file naming convention needed for PSP version 2.7 and I understand this changes with version 2.8 which I haven't installed.

What I'm looking for is how to display the Title of the movie on the PSP. All I see is a "-" for a title, the date and time created and the length of the movie. I see no options for TITLE in the Windows menus for the file. I tried a shareware program that converted different movie file types (I converted a few .mov files to .mp4) and it could not even find a TITLE tag on the .mp4 file.

Can anyone help?

Additional Info:

Using 'PSP Video 9', the 'File Properties' on the 'Copy' tab gives you the following message if looking at files from NR2 - <NO MSV TITLE TAG FOUND.>

Files converted using 'PSP Video 9' DO have a 'TITLE' tag that you can modify.

Hello,

I had a similar issue with my iPod, and it turned out to be because iTunes/iPods can respect "TV Tags" but can't really write them properly. There is a program called Atomic Parsley out there that has been ported to many platforms, including a GUI freeware version for OS X called Parsley Is Atomically Delicious. This program does a great job at writing TV Tags the way my iPod needs them to be.

Perhaps you are having a similar situation?
