MPEG1 or MPEG2 may not produce files as small, but should work on more devices. I'm sure this has been asked and maybe I missed something scanning the forums. For that I do apologize.
I am very much leaning towards getting one of these devices. I am glad Neuros is listening to their customers. Title: Re: Other formats? Fortunately recorded files can be converted into any other format in software after the fact (with the right software). And MPEG4 is some 2-5 times more efficient space-wise than MPEG2. So capturing as MPEG2 would result in much larger files for the same picture quality. |
