This might work better - put some velcro on both sides, just pull the Neuros off when you want to take it out.

Or glue this adapter plate onto the Neuros.

I liked having the Sirius receiver above the dash, let everyone in the car read it.  I listen to that on the road, and the Neuros when at work during the day.

I am in Boston area, too many commercial stations covering too much area.  I use a cassette adapter with mine all the time.  Longer battery life that way too.
I got one of these for my Sirius receiver
SR052 : Super Strong 8” Windshield Mount Pedestal
from http://www.arkon.com/xm_mount.php, worked great until I tried to adjust it in the car (pretty stiff gooseneck) and ripped the suction cup apart. Need to order another.
I got it someplace else, but you get the idea. Comes with an adapter plate that screws onto back of the Sirius unit, probably have to glue that to the Neuros instead, just slide the adapter onto the end of the gooseneck when jump in the car.

Found the problem.  Opened the end up and compared to a working adapter, one of the wires was broken. Resoldered it, back in business.  The wires must have been tugged on at some point, the other two were pulled pretty tight too.  Pulled them all back in the body of the plug some to have a little strain relief.

Can someone confirm if the N1 car chargers work with the N2 players? We have 3 of each, the N2s don't go into charging mode with the N1 car chargers - there is no sign that the players even recognizes the cord is plugged in. The red light on the car adapter turns on when plugged into the car power port (1995 VW Cabrio and 2004 VW Jetta).  They charge up just fine at home with the AC adapters.

Thanks
