Look at NDBM, it's open source Java.
Or use a good firmware with a file browser.
2  Neuros 442 Personal Media Player / Neuros 442 - I need help! / Re: Cannot copy files to 442 on: May 25, 2006, 07:19:53 PM
I was using a front-panel USB jack connected right to mobo, I will try a back one. I don't have any usb 2 hubs, but I might try my monitor's usb1.1--it should be powered.

It doesn't work either way, plugged in or not.

My 442 seems to work fine, but after I plug it in via USB and try to copy ~300 MB TV shows, it stops about halfways and says: Error copying <file>  Cannot find the specified file. After that, I cannot do anything on it: I cannot read folders, delete files, anything. It's like the connection is just lost. Unplugging USB and plugging back in always fixes it.
I have reformatted the drive in its menus.
Thanks for any help.

Isn't in need of an update now? I assume that's old news about the USB 2 backpacks...
