I received my OSD yesterday and upgraded the firmware.

I found a number of s/w stability issues (which I assume will be fixed in the fullness of time); but I am left with one hardware concern (since it probably will not be fixed).

The remote control does not seem to work at a distance of more than 3 or 4 feet.   I have not seen this mentioned in the forums.  Is this normal?  If it is the case, it will make the unit much less useful since I cannot control it from my normal tv viewing chair.
