I recently setup my '05 TSX to connect my NII headphones out to the AUX input on the stero. I connected through a ground loop isolater from Radio Shack, but still had a whole lot of noise when plugged into the charger (btw, I use an inverter to go from the car's DC power to AC, then use the AC wall charger to power my NII while driving). I was only able to kill the noise by wrapping a copper wire around one RCA connection point, and connecting the other end to a bolt inside the console, near the e-brake handle.
Just thought I'd post my fix, in case the GLI wasn't working for someone else.
