1  Neuros 442 Personal Media Player / Neuros 442 - I need help! / Battery Recharge Failure on: February 11, 2006, 01:24:20 PM
Does anyone have a problem with charging up their batteries on their 442?  I received my Neuros a few months ago and now am having a problem charging my Neuros up to full capacity.  It used to charge fully and only needed about 4 hours to do a full charge, but recently I've been having problems charging it fully.  It only flashes for a short while before the white light on the power button stops flashing and remains white.  I turn on my unit and find that it has only charged up to half capacity.  I have to plug the adapter in and out to have it start charging properly (flashing) several times.  Is anyone else having battery problems?  I also find that I need to press the the power button several times before it turns on and after the sixth time I reset the unit.

Thoughts?

I got it to work after several jostling sessions with the input/output jacks.  I guess the jacks needed to be really broken in.  Thanks for all the feedback...just the result of first generation units.  Smiley

Yup.  I plugged it in just like I plug in my PS2.  I have two video in/output feeds and the 442 doesn't work in either.  Any thoughts or anyone else finding problems?  How successful is the tv out feature from your Neuros and has Neuros support gotten back to any of you on this issue?

I too am having this problem where I cannot output to TV.  I tried the two provided AV cables and different vcrs and tvs and twisted the plugs...etc as was suggest in the posts below, but I am getting no video signal and just audio.  Has there been a fix to this problem, is the hardware faulty or is it a firmware bug?

Thanks.
