It still works fine, I just got another one but I'm thinking I may still hold on to this one. I'll let you know in a few days.

3  Neuros Digital Audio Computer / Neuros Digital Audio Computer - I need help! / NII 80Gb F/S on: May 03, 2006, 03:34:48 PM
Hey, I'm selling my 80Gb NII mp3 player, it's still rather new (about 3 months old) and I still have EVERYTHING that I originally got when it came with it, it includes the original box and styrofoam casing, the user manual and installation cd, high speed usb 2.0 transfer cable, ac adapter, carrying case, and even the included message from Neuros that said that they put the 80Gb mp3 player in a 20Gb case. Hell I even still have the little screen protective film that was originally on it, as well as the silica gel pack. The screen is the only thing that isn't 100% on it. It has a few scratches, and I'll take pictures if anyone is that concerned.

I'd sell it for $200 shipped to your door. If you're interested let me know and we can work out the finer shipping details and such.

5  Neuros Digital Audio Computer / Neuros Digital Audio Computer - I need help! / shut down hang plus playback issue on: March 11, 2006, 10:16:25 PM
I have the normal shutdown hang issue where my neuros says it's shutting down but never does, and I don't know whether that's something that can be fixed using the original firmware (2.28) or if I should update to and open source firmware. If anyone could point me in the right direction as to what I should do to fix my shutdown problem through using original firmware it would be appreciated. Otherwise if you know of good open source firmware that I could perhaps use instead I would really know which one you'd recomend.

And I'm not sure why but when I put my Neuros on shuffle playing all my music (about 2000 songs if that matters) I will get locked up as well. For example I'm listening to a song on random, then it will pick the next song to listen to, but instead of playing the song the whole player will lock up.

For the whole time I've had my mp3 player it has only once shut down normally...I'm not sure if maybe mine is having irregular issues as I just bought it, or if this is normal. I'd really like to keep this one because I like it a lot, I just don't want to be shafted out of $250 for something that occasionally works.

Thanks for any help,
Brian

Try using sorune to transfer songs to your mp3 player and to build your data base. I also found I was having the same issues when trying to transfer music. You can find the program at this link http://www.sorune.com/ It's pretty self explanitory and much easier to use than the software that it comes with.

7  Neuros Digital Audio Computer / Neuros Digital Audio Computer - I need help! / Play all tracks on: March 03, 2006, 05:41:11 AM
Is there a mode on the neuros II 80gb model with 2.28 firmware to tell it to play all the tracks on the mp3 player, I found a shuffle function, but I really don't feel like making a new playlist with every one of my songs each time I throw more music onto it.

Any help would be appreciated.
