Hey how's it going,
I purchased the Neuros MPEG4 Recorder 2 not too long ago (2/28/2006) but I'm having a problem with it already. After getting the product, I was able to hook it up to my TV and everything seemed to be working ok.. I recorded some video through an external camera (I did the setup found at
www.rainydaymagazine.com) and everything seemed to be working fine. A few days later I decided to use it again but I wasn't able to get the display to come on the TV so I double-checked the connections .. same as they were last time but no display on the TV. The recorder has power and shows a green light so I knew the power was ok but if I tried to say hit the record button on the remote while the camera is hooked up it doesn't give the red recording light. I thought then that maybe it's the batteries so I went out and bought some spare batteries and replaced the one in the remote but still no luck. I tried disconnecting it and moving it to another TV and still nothing.. is the battery required to get the menu to display on TV? I had myself and 2 others try and figure out what may be wrong but none of us had any luck. Has anyone here had similar problems or do you have any suggestions? I contacted support so I'm waiting to hear back from them as well..
