Is this an issue with just my recorder or any neuros Mpeg recorder II?
I have my cable hooked up to my recorder, and then the output of the recorder hooked up to my TV. But if I just want to watch Cable and not do any recording or anything, I have to turn on the neuros recorder and put it in Preview Mode to just watch tv.
Why can't the input just short to the output when the unit is powered off? Just like a VCR or other A/V device, where you can plug a video source into a unit's input jacks and then the video source still gets run through the output jacks of the vcr even when its turned off?
Its a shame I have to have the neuros on and put it in preview mode to just watch TV when I'm not using it, or have to unplug it and plug the video source directly into my TV when I'm not using the neuros and have it powered off.
Just my gripe. Any plans for this to be fixed if its a problem with all neuros recorder IIs?
thanks, brad
