1  Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder / Neuros MPEG4 Recorder - Feedback & Discussion / Re: PSP firmware 2.8 works w/r2 recordings on: August 22, 2006, 09:32:42 PM
Upgrade the Neuros Recorder firmware to 2.00.019 and it should work fine, here is the link:
http://www.neurostechnology.com/support/support_MPEG4_R2updates.asp

That was the answer! File created under version 2.00.019 DO play from the /VIDEO folder. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Files are still missing a 'TITLE' tag according to 'PSP Video 9', but since the File Name is now displayed on the PSP Title line(which accept spaces and long file names), this is irrelevant.

Thanks again.

If you say files 'WILL' play from the /VIDEO folder, then what am I doing wrong?

Using 320x240-30fps Economic
NR2 version 02.00.0013
PSP version 2.8

Files automaticly save to \MP_ROOT\101MNV01 folder with filenames of M4V00001.MP4 and M4V00001.THM

I use USB mode on PSP to move files using Windows XP from \MP_ROOT\101MNV01 folder to \VIDEO folder.

I select the video on the PSP and get 'This video cannot be played' message.

note:
NR2 file plays from original directory.
Other video files converted using 'PSP Video 9' will play from \Video directory.

Please help.

I have upgraded to PSP 2.8. nr2 files still play, but only from the \MP_ROOT\101MNV01 directory. If I move files to the \VIDEO directory, the THM files do not display, but the filename shows up as the "Title", which would be great except that when I try to play the video I get "This video cannot be played." error message.

Additional Info:

Using 'PSP Video 9', the 'File Properties' on the 'Copy' tab gives you the following message if looking at files from NR2 - <NO MSV TITLE TAG FOUND.>

Files converted using 'PSP Video 9' DO have a 'TITLE' tag that you can modify.

7  Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder / Neuros MPEG4 Recorder - I need help! / How do you add/modify TITLE tag? on: August 14, 2006, 03:53:16 PM
I love the Neuros Recorder2 since purchasing it about a month ago, but I have not been able to find any answers to one question:

How do you set the title? Not the file name. I understand about the file naming convention needed for PSP version 2.7 and I understand this changes with version 2.8 which I haven't installed.

What I'm looking for is how to display the Title of the movie on the PSP. All I see is a "-" for a title, the date and time created and the length of the movie. I see no options for TITLE in the Windows menus for the file. I tried a shareware program that converted different movie file types (I converted a few .mov files to .mp4) and it could not even find a TITLE tag on the .mp4 file.

Can anyone help?
