1  Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - I need help! / Re: Clock Issues on: December 14, 2006, 04:22:35 AM
Either it does not work all the time or it lags a few seconds before it starts.
------ About the timed recording,it is a known issue, you can see the detailed information in bugzilla:http://bugzilla.neurosaudio.com/show_bug.cgi?id=693

What about an option to beable to remove the semi-trasparant screen and the Time on the monitor.
------Do you mean that you want to goto the pass thru mode,if yes, hold  BACK key, then it will goto the pass thru.

Why after 10 seconds does the units screen go blank I find I that if I go to the application screen it will stay active. Is there a reason this needs to shut off?
-----can you describe this issue more detailed,I don't konw how to duplicated.

Thanks

Kelly

4  Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - Feedback & Discussion / Re: Recorded video is jumpy... on: December 01, 2006, 04:28:35 AM
Bob,
Playback the recorded ASF and MP4 file,is the MP4 file  more severe than ASF fiel?
OSD's input is PAL or NTSC?
Epcept the JUMP,there are any other problem?such as A/V out of sync?
do you use other cards to record?

I set the DVD's input as PAL,then record video,Resolution as 512 *400,then when recording, the video picture is jumping, playback is also jumping. But if set as NTSC,it is ok.
5  Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - I need help! / Re: Newbie - HELP? on: November 29, 2006, 10:41:07 PM
Thank you for your feedback.

playback controls (pause, fast forward) on remote did *not* work
----Does remote control work if you press other keys? I think it's because the SD's issue, you can use CF card to record then playback, the Pause and fast forward key can work.

don't know how to get the on screen menu off the screen when I want.
----Goto OSD main menu, then Hold BACK and LEFT key,it will get the screen menu off.

Do you set the Target Device as Apple iPod  or Sony PSP?If you set the Target Device as Apple iPod  or Sony PSP,although ou choose the correct Recording Path,OSD still can't find the recording path.
So if you want to use Multi-cards to record video or audio, you should set the Target Device as Unknown.
Can you try this to see whether it can record ?

Thanks and regards
7  Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - Feedback & Discussion / Re: looped playback?/variable bit rate on: November 29, 2006, 05:06:09 AM
Martin.
You can goto the Setting->Video Playmode ,
set the Repeat Mode as Single, then it will loop play one video over and over,
set the Repeat Mode as ALL,then it will loop play all video in current folder over and over.

Also if I encode a file to mpeg2 using a variable bit rate( lets say up to 8bps) can osd play this?
-----It can be played on OSD.

8  Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - Feedback & Discussion / Re: Playback quality on: November 23, 2006, 08:28:55 PM
There are problems if playback mpg files at present( 3.26-0.29),the problem is same as your description. It's not relevant with using USB or SD cars.
This problem will be fixed later.
9  Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - I need help! / Re: OSD cannot create video for Sony PSP on: November 23, 2006, 03:07:21 AM
There are folder named 101mnv01 in your PSP?
Because Sony PSP still are improved now,if there are not 101mnv01 in your PSP,It will can't find the path to record. So if you want to record video to your PSP,please create 101mnv01 in mp_root in your PSP,
then select "Sony PSP" in "Target Device",
Start recording with "Recording Path = /media/usbdisk1",
or select /media/usbdisk1/mp_root/101mnv01".
to see whether it can work.
10  Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - I need help! / Re: get back from OSD screen to watch TV? on: November 15, 2006, 09:53:17 PM

11  Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - I need help! / Re: How can I make it work? on: November 12, 2006, 09:39:36 PM
Record MP4 files, the longest recording length is only about 14 minutes. This is a known issuse. So if you want to record for long time, you can choose record ASF file format.
12  Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - I need help! / Re: SD card -> crash, cf out of sync on: November 07, 2006, 07:54:13 PM

13  Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - I need help! / Re: recording and network questions on: November 06, 2006, 02:14:04 AM
Do you change the parameter in Network Setting? If you havn't change the parameter,OSD will use static ip(192.168.1.100).But if you want to use DHCP,first, you should plug in network cable, then boot up OSD,lastly change the IP Addr Type as DHCP,network will work.

14  Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - I need help! / Re: recording questions on: October 30, 2006, 11:53:43 PM
It's not a recording questions. It's  PAL and NTSC issue.Do you check the tv's video standards is PAL or NTSC,and DVD's video standards  is PAL or NTSC? you should set the signal in and out as  same video standands.  Also you should set :Setting-->General--->TV Output as same video standands. After set the three as same, then reboot OSD,your question will be fixed.
15  Neuros OSD / Neuros OSD - I need help! / Re: SD card -> crash, cf out of sync on: October 29, 2006, 08:00:36 PM
Chris,do you record AVI files ? If you record AVI files, the out-of-sync issue while playing the record AVI files is still a problem in OSD version 3.21-0.21,you can see the detail information on : http://bugzilla.neurostechnology.com/show_bug.cgi?id=609
