I saw a 4GB Compact Flash card (manufactured by PQI) on Ebay for about $130. Does anyone know if it will work with the Recorder 2?
Also, is there a minimum CF card speed the R2 needs? The 4GB PQI was a 100x speed, but there are 60x and 40x speed cards that are cheaper.

I'm already sold on the Recorder 2 but I need this info urgently to get a CF card that will work with it.

Well, I can't answer that question directly, but I can say that I just purchased and used a SanDisk 4 GB MS Pro Duo card without any problem.  They are selling for $130 from newegg or zipzoomfly.

My largest CF card is currently 2 GB and it works fine.

Transcent 8GB CF cards x120 work fine based on this post: http://forums.neurostechnology.com/smf/index.php?topic=7375.0

I don't know if that will be true for brands for sure though. If anybody has used CF cards of different brands, size and speed, please post something here and let us know what worked for you.

I use an 8GB Seagate microdrive (Photo- RED very important) and it works fine.  You have to get the photo, there are some CF microdrives that are for embedding into devices, those won't work.
