this is probably of very limited interest, but I was having major problems with my N1 not switching to MyFi. I had already fixed my headphone jack which had been giving only one channel output, but I didn't ever use it with the headphones. The only place I use it at all is in my car. So when it started having trouble switching to MyFi even when I never plugged headphones in, I decided to try to fix it. The first thing I did was just rip the headphone jack completely off the board. I figured that would probably solve it. But it still wouldn't do MyFi. it took many hours of reckless and aimless experimentation, which luckily did not harm the player any more than I had already done by ripping a major chunk off of the board, but in the end I found the the proper jumping point to make my player a MyFi only player. I jumped from the groundpoint of the headphone jack to the close side of C87 and voila! My Neuros now is constantly on MyFi!!! See photos of mod at

It may also void your warranty, although I doubt anyone still has their warranty on a Neuros 1 Just thought I'd share my experience.
