I just got my 442( hoping on the bandwagon a little late..lol) heres the problem.. im trying to get some MPEG's onto my 442 and im having audio troubles.. I converted the MPEG to a MPEG4 using Ulead and after that copy and pasted to my 442.. video plays fine but theres no audio... did I screw this up? what did I do wrong and whats the best way to fix the problem?... also whats the best DVD converter/ripper out there?

to make this problem easier to solve, you should first go out and find a  program called "Gspot".  This will load up your created video files and tell you exactly what codecs they were created with and give you all the specs.  Then we should be able to tell whether its a codec problem or something else.
