Any playback issues with PSP update 2.81?

Just recorded some stuff last night to play on my psp and I have the latest update 2.81 for the PSP.  It did not play.  No worries yet because I will need to recheck my settings when I get home.
Just wondering if anyone else uploaded 2.81 and ran into this same problem. Hopefully it is just my user error.

2.81 only was a security update for the homebrew mostly.
I hope it is not for the video as well, although I would think nothing major is going to happen until update 3.0 hits.
Still I would not put it past sony to do a patch that messes up the headers for the NR2.

Seems to be no issues. I had the files in the wrong folder. Works as normal.....

well heck! This is indeed good news! Maybe Sony will leave the headers alone now..
And focus on what this machine can do since they have stated to psp2 will be forthcoming..

I have yet to upgrade my PSP f/w from 2.80 to 2.81 and reading out on the psp forums it sounds as though its mostly security patch stuff but I did also read the 2 of the 3 folders under the MSROOT/ directory have been removed from the format memory stick function.  Was that your experience?  Does that change interfere with the r2 recording on freshly formatted MS DUO?  Just wondering...

my psp doent even turn on nemore cuz of 2.81. I have a 4 gb hasrd drive and i wonder if it has nething to do with that

I'm not sure if the moderators are going to appreciate it if we post PSP only related issues here.  Having said that, if you were using Homebrew on your PSP, that may explain why yours got bricked with the 2.81 upgrade.  Also, it was my understanding that the 2.81 upgrade would make the new 4G/8G MS Duo work.  Prior to 2.81 I didn't think they would work on the PSP.  This is a vague recollection and may not hold any truth to it.  I personally use 2G cards but wouldn't mind going to 4G when the price drops.
