The icons and suggested devices listed are only suggestions. It is possible that your device may play video not indicated according to this table. For example, some smartphones and mobile phones can play video with higher resolutions than might be expected.
The best way to determine the video capability for your device is to start with the highest quality (superfine) at the highest resolution that your device might support. If that doesn't work, use a lower quality (Fine, and so on) until the video plays.
Note: A '*' link indicates a file named in accordance with a PSP firmware revision prior to 2.8, use this file if you are using PSP firmware earlier than version 2.8.
For smartphones and pocket PCs running Windows Mobile 5.0 or 2003 SE, with Windows Media Player Mobile 10, we recommend that the 3GP recording settings are used. For most other mobile phones, this setting should also be the most appropriate.
