| Hey Joe - Had a Neuros II until it was stolen. Have been reluctant to purchase another (if I could even find one) due to pending release of N3. If it's gonna be well into '06 then I'm gonna have to look at other options, but I'd rather wait it out. I NEED an MP3 player! One with hi-fi (wav) recording features. So I figure there would be some news if there was, but perhaps with people like myself continuing to pester ;-) maybe we'll get a more solid idea. |

I think I read that the Neuros 3 will be released next year, but I'm not sure when the Gamma units will be released. Right now, there isn't a whole lot that has been finalized about the unit as far as I can tell (it'll have standard connectors, a replaceable battery, and a Burr Brown or Wolfson DAC in it; that's all I've heard).
Trust me, you're not the only one who wants one.  |

N3 will be well into '06, but if you can deal with the size the next version of the 442 might be right up your alley. It should have all the audio features of the N2 except NeuroCast, adn then some.
Also, we are getting a final small shipment of N2 in and we'll be blowing those out at a breakthrough price for 80GB units, just so you've got all your options.

I was hoping for the N3 to come out sooner since the 442 is already in Gamma. I'll still wait for the N3 because I'm into audio more than video so the additional "stuff" in the 442 would be not used and just be more of a distraction than an asset to me.
Here's hoping that the N3 is released soon rather than later!
