It is almost impossible to get the top back on if the bottom is on first and you might break it trying. so dont bother. You need to take the bottom off. In order to do this you need a Torx T6 screwdriver. There are not that hard to find and a decent sized hardware store will have them. (you might even be able to take out the screws at the hardware store...leave and reassemble it....and then go back to the hardware store and screw in the screws without ever buying it. take out the screws and place the top back on first, then the bottom.
Here is another tip, i have taken mine apart probably 20 times and the top can be tricky to get back on correctly. You are going to want to angle the casing when you stick the top back on and make sure the tabs snap back into place....HERE IS THE IMPORTANT PART....IF YOU GET THE TOP OF THE CASE BACK ON RIGHT AND YOU STICK ON THE BOTTOM PART YOU WILL HEAR A SNAP. THIS IS OK AND YOU DID NOT BREAK ANYTHING... IF YOU GET THE TOP ON AND THEN THE BOTTOM AND YOU DONT HEAR A LITTLE SNAP NOISE...IT USUALLY MEANS THAT YOU HAVE NOT ALIGNED THE TOP PINS CORRECTLY. (snap may not be very loud depending on circumstances)
Also, you may not want to do this...but if you get in back on the first time and feel that you can do it again without too much effort then i would suggest that you take the case back apart and look at the top pins. if they are bent slightly or bent a lot...it means that you actually did not have it on right. if they look straight then you did it right and put it back togeather. The first few times i put it back togeather i did it wrong and bent the plastic pins, but they are maleable enough to be bent back in place...so you can mess up a few times.
you might want to search the forums for the "external antenna mod". in this tutorial it shows some pictures of how to put it togeather right which will help you know what pins i am talking about.
good luck, Derek
