Will Recorder 1.0 and 1.1 owners be able to return their units for upgrade to Recorder 2.0 for a fee?

So, having read the wiki....

I understand that having bought my Recorder 1 (new) off of eBay leaves me S.O.L.?

Unless there is someone who re-sold/ditched their Recorder 1 a while ago and still has a reciept handy??
