JoshMalone's blogBricked my OSD :(Well - I am the (un)proud owner of a Neuros Open Source Brick. All hail the OSB! Basically, I built a bad U-Boot and programmed it. I'm trying to get the serial port speed to 38400 which my USB-to-RS232 adapter works with. (it doesn't handle 115200). At present it's totally non-functional. Luckily, the company I work for has some JTAG stations. I should be able to use one of them to re-program a good U-Boot onto my flash and be running again. sniff Docs pushOkay - I'm on a crusade to push as much documentation as I can from the mailing list into the OSD Dev book so that newbies can get started easily. I find that it's much easier to digest a web book like this than a mailing list archive. Yay for X!Finally got X working again on my laptop. Been broken for a bit since I last attempted to upgrade to latest Debian. Now I can finally do some hacking. Got the rev 225 BSP built over the weekend but haven't had time to load it up. Now I discover I'm a bit behind on SVN, so I'm updating now. Maybe I can rebuild today. Dying to test SOMETHING. |
