This is in regards to the idea of having a command line way of causing the scheduler app to "see" changes made directly to the scheduler database (scheduler.sql) - i.e., by using SQLITE3 commands.

Another way of looking at this is that it is the equivalent of going into the scheduler screen in the GUI and saving any of the entries (which causes the system to re-scan the entire database).

It seems like some small progress was made on this by one or more of the gurus here, but I was never able to test or use any of their efforts.  Is there any chance this thread could be revived?

I think that greyback seemed to be about 75% of the way to an "almost prototype".
