You have 2 options (we are working on a video demo that should be available in a few days) but here are step by step instructions: Record Directly on the iPod via USB, or record on a flash card or other external storage and transfer file on the iPod via iTunes. USB recording on iPod: Connect your iPod to your PC or Mac, open iTunes, Go on the summary page (the one where you restore factory settings). Make sure your the format is Windows (Fat 32) and select: Manually manage music and video (select also Enable Disk use as you are at it, you will be able to use your iPod as an external HDD) Once you have done this, you will be able to connect the iPod directly to the OSD via USB, go to record menu, choose iPod as the Playback Device. Keep the default path for the Save To field, you can edit the name if you wish. Once you are done with the recording, go to the main menu, click on play browse, select USB, click on Xi and select Eject (it is a safe way to remove all storage media). You will find the recorded files under Video/Movie on your iPod. If you want to watch the files on your TV with the OSD. With the iPod connected to the OSD via USB, go to play/browse, select USB/iPod_control/Music/F9 and you will have a list of all the files recorded with the OSD. Record video on a flash card then transfer video through iTunes If you plan to us the method only, you do not need to change any of the iPod factory settings. Got to the record menu, select the iPod as the playback device, got to the Save To file, click edit and choose the storage media you want to use (CF, SD, USB thumdrive, etc...). Once you are done with the recording, connect the storage device to your PC, open iTunes, Select File/ Import, select the storage media connected to your PC and the files you want to import on the iPod. Once you are done, wait for the synch step to finish. (You will need to select the new files manually if you are using a Manual synch instead of an Automatic one). The new files will be under Video/Movies.
Again we will have a video demo available for the above shortly.
