I  exported playlist files  and cleared a bunch of tracks off the neuros thru the sync manager and was in the process of adding files to the unit or as I refer to it as the "f " drive from another external drive "G" . I've just found it easier than dealing with the sync manager.
Anyway during this process and going back to verify that its in the file browser selection it goes into this " I'm busy mode", which is normal I guess But this time after a couple of min. I get this ERROR: Ox2828   hold PLAY button to restart.
I did and it wants to go back to the main scroll menu starting with Neuros Audio but each selection prompts the busy mode and the cycle continues.
I tried the hard shut down by holding the play and center contrl button at the same time and it shut down but has no affect over the dilemma. I've also tried removing it from the backpack and no change. So if anybody has some input on how to resolve I'd appreciate it cause in the 10 months that I've owned this unit its been nothing short of great.

Since posting this I did some digging in previous forum posts and found this related post
http://forums.neurostechnology.com/index.php?topic=7473.msg39763#msg39763
And I did get thru the first part of the repair instruct. But I don't understand what they are referring to regarding partitions and having to remove them and re-install. HuhHuhHuh?
I'm pretty sure i got it resolved using the directions previously posted. thanks Forum. But NOW have a different dilemma, and that is after compiling, converting, and importing roughly 1800 track to the NSM. I use edit-select all , add to neuros, and sync. It goes thru its thing for about 32min. I disconnect and check the unit , this is whats REALLY got me by the short hairs ! none of these tracks are in the Neuros Audio selection [ songs, playlists, artists, albums, etc].  HELP this is where they need to be so I can have random running music of all the 1800 tracks. INSTEAD They've all gone into the File Browser selection which you can't play unless you go down the line to artist and specific track and select; thats just not gonna work. INPUT PLEASE.

NDBM is your friend. - http://neurosdbm.sourceforge.net/

Delete the old database, create a new one using the "Rebuild" option.  That should fix your problem.
