There are four youtube videos that I really consider moving, and I've frequently shared them with friends.  If they come over I play them on the OSD, other times, I even bring my laptop around especially for sharing these videos.  I'm wondering if others have such youtube videos and figured I'd see if I couldn't start something interesting by sharing mine:

American Anthem from the Ken Burns series "The War" about WWII.  This one is pretty self explanatory.

Can World's strongest Dad is a tribute to a Dad that devoted his life to fulfilling his quadriplegic son's dream of participating in marathons and triathlons.  Check out Team Hoyt on the internet for more background.

Honorable Manhood, a segment from Ken Burns "Civil War" series

Happy Father's day, clips from random street interviews with people wishing their dad's a happy fathers day.

This is a bit of an experiment (on a few levels) but you should just be able to download this little file and either append it to your own, or point your youtube browser's favorites to this file.  Please post your own as well as letting me know how this goes for you technically.

[edit] We'll give away a free OSD to the best list, and there probably won't be that many lists, so this should be an easy way for you to score an OSD, or get an extra one for a Christmas gift.  We'll pick a winner on December 15th, so you'll get it in time for Christmas.

As I use my OSD mainly "headless", I don't have this youtube_favs file.  I'll add my videos from my youtube user tonight in my OSD.

Joe, are you looking for most inspirational, or just overall best example of good uses of YouTube?

And how would one generate that xml file without an OSD... So as to be able to procure said OSD.  ;P

Hmm, hopefully I'm not too late Smiley

The fact that it is used by the whole family makes the list quite varied... enjoy  Cheesy

Sorry, ChadV, I haven't been very attentive to this thread, so just point me to your favorites on youtube and I'll convert and post.

Were contacted that you won?  Huh (I was hoping to win, because my gf don't like when her shows don't work because I "played" with the OSD  )

I was waiting for ChadV, but I think I snoozed too long on this thread, I better just choose from what we have.  I'll post later today.
