Has anyone compiled a list of shortcut tips or not-so documented features that most of us don't know about. For example, I knew "#' was a 30 second skip, and can be used to skip a percentage of the way through a file. There has to be more of these. My hope is if this list is put together here, it can be moved to the "Neuros OSD - Tips, Tricks, and Hacks" section..
I'll Start:
* Use # to skip 30 seconds or enter a number then "#" to skip a percentage of the way through a file.

- Press * to select multiple items in the file browser
and yes, things like this should definitely be documented. ie. I knew about the 30 second skip, but not about the percentage.... :O

Hm, I've been messing with the "press number then # to skip percentage" trick and don't seem to get anything but the 30 second skip.
Example, if I want to skip to the halfway point I would hit 5 0 # right?

Very nice. Thanks for the info. The # key definitely moves 30 seconds ahead. When I am moving through a movie, that is a nice feature. I tried a couple of a variations on 40# and #40#, but couldn't get the film to advance 40%.

I've tried the # to get the 30 second skip after installing the latest firmware (OSD 3.33-2.05-04.84a) but it didn't seem to work properly. Was it taken out of Arizona? Nice tip on the #X# for going X% of the way into the movie...assuming that works for me, of course.

They were both lost in the Arizona transition, but they (possibly with * for 30s back) will be restored soon, hopefully in the official AZ release. -G

I was hoping the octothorpe key hadn't been broken when my 3-year old got her hands on the remotes!

Thanks for posting the wiki.
In the wiki, is it possible to post the commands to start the various applications from a shell?

Yes it is possible. Here would be an excellent place for it: http://wiki.neurostechnology.com/index.php/OSD_Telnetwkrik, (and others who read this) would you be able to contribute to it as you find commands that can be run?
