Hi all,

Does anyone know ways configure slicing recording time using Unlimited time recording other than the default setting which is 4GB.  As I looked through the forum, this default setting is meant for FAT32 filesystem.

Is there any configuration to shorten the current setting to 1hours or even 30 mins ? I would like to record a channel 24/7 but would like to access the file within 30mins instead of waiting for Neuros finalised the recording file only when it reach 4GB.

Would greatly appreciate your advice.  Tnx in advance ! Smiley

I think the 4hour/4GB thing is hard-coded into the software.

Your request is quite unique, I don't think the developers would ever have considered such an option.

You might be able to bodge something together with the scheduler? Or via a script somehow. Not sure...

Shell script that send "STOP" and "RECORD" each 30min may divide the file automatically,
or using the very old fimware (osd-3.33-1.34.upk) files will be divided by each 2.5hours (and <2GB) like
Test.mp4 / Test-031101.mp4 / Test-031301.mp4 ... (=Filename-ddhhxx.mp4 xx=01,02,03...)
