Apologies if this has been posted, but Sound Professionals, the maker of my battery boost module for my binaural microphones, now offers a battery module streamlined for use with the Neuros:

http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/item/SP-SPSB-8

It's not clear to me if they have included the bass roll-off switches on this unit, which I rely on in my battery module. But it certainly is compact, and as they state in the description, you can pack this, and the Neuros, into an Otter Box, for bomb-proof recording.

The reminder on their site, of course, is that this isn;t a pre-amp, so for very quiet sounds, you still need one of those seperately.

PS I've puchased from them about 4 times, reputable as far as I'm concerned.

Did I mention the rechargeable battery booster for the Neuros itself?

http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/category.cgi?category=search&item;=SP-NEUROS-RB&type;=store

It's billed as a booster for help during those consuming long WAV recordings we can do now with the fat hard drive capacity of the current Neuros...

Ok Q-W-Y, whose/what products do you suggest that are better and less expensive for external microphone based recording with the Neuros? PS Do you prefer Czechvar or the popular Pilsner Urquell?

I suggest this: http://www.neurosaudio.com/community/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4489

PS: I prefer "Budejovicky Budvar" (http://www.budvar.cz/) and "Svijany" (http://www.pivovarsvijany.cz/)
