hello there,

can anyone please recommend a quality charger or converter to enable me to recharge my neuros while in europe . . . (220-240 volt electricity, generated at 50 Hz (cycles))

thanks,
andras

If you want to buy one, when you're still in the states, I can't help you, but when you come to europe, you can go to the first electronic-store you see and by one at about 10 to 15 Euros. It should provide between 6 and 20 Volts, usually you will get them switchable from 1.5V to 12V. They will all work, so don't be afraid. I bought the smallest and cheapest one when I got my Neuros and it's still working perfect! :)

Have fun here, in the old world,

Matthias

Andras,

I bought my Neuros a year ago. Did the same thing as Mathhias.

Fyi, I charge my Neuros with a Bandridge adapter (BE0650)

thanks guys,

that's promising. i was concerned about matching the amperage (800mA), thinking anything higher could hurt the neuros, although - admittedly - i know little about this stuff.

i will have 6 hours at the london airport, so if security doesn't get me with the gear i will be carrying, i just might pick one up there. btw, i will be in hungary and posting soundbites daily to sziget2005.com (almost ready). i decided to take only a small non-pre-amped mic (soundProfessionals: SP-SPSM-1), so that i can keep the neuros at minimal size with the flash backback, since i will be roaming with a lot of photo gear as well. i will mainly do short interviews to be used in the videos and QTVRs, so hopefully it will good enough to reduce some of the noise i get when using the internal mic.

once again, thanks for your help, guys.
