| What Operating System do you have? Have you tried your Neuros on a different computer? |

You only need the drivers if you are using Windows 98 and the only reason you need them for Windows 98 is because it has poor USB support. Windows XP should see the Neuros as a removeable storage device without the use of any drivers (just plug it in).
When you plug the Neuros in, what does the Neuros do? Does it just sit at the menu or does it go to a different sync screen? |

Do you have the Neuros HD or Neuros II? If you have the Neuros II, you could try getting a new cable from Support. If you have the Neuros HD or you wouldn't mind using USB1.1 for a while, go to a computer store and look for a "USB A to USB B-mini" cable. You could probably show someone at the store your Neuros and have him find the cable you need.
You could also try removing the drivers. Since the Neuros is seeing your computer, it seems like the Neuros is fine. That's why I'm suggesting a new cable--it's cheap and could explain why your having these problems (a data wire could be damaged). I'm not garaunteeing anything, so you may want to try to get a new cable free from support if your Neuros is new and in warranty. |

The USB2.0 connector is a proprietary connection type, so unless you can get one from NA you're out of luck there. The USB1.1 cable you can find at almost any electronics store. If you have a digital camera, chances are the cable for that will work for the USB1.1 port.
Try doing what you can to your computer first because that isn't going to cost you anything. As I said before (or I think I said), I am not certain that your cable is the problem so try the cheapest or easiest solutions before buying a new one. |

Recognized or not, if you get the sync icon on your Neuros, then you should be able to go to the sync manager and synchronize.
It's when the screen *DOESN'T* change that you're farked.
Check and e-mail back. |
