hiiia!!
ive just got hold of a zolid 920 bought in an aldi and it seems to me that its the same as your neorus 420. so here is the thing: first, were the hell can i find a decent firmware update. because the last thing ive found on the net is from december 2005. second, i also read somewere on this forum that you can change your neorus for a better one, with a hardware upgrade and so on. mine is exactly the same. with a 40 gb hard disk. and firmware version 1.3.5., so could i also upgrade mine? one last thing, have any of you had any problems with your neorus, i mean faulty parts, or problems with the hard drive? also any tips you could give me would be cool. thanks! |

I don't know if Eastech plans any firmware upgrades for the PMP they manufacture. I suspect the are waiting for companies like Neuros, zolid, commadore and others who have purchased from them to pony up the money for firmware updates. Neuros is moving to a new hardware platform with open source firmware for the 442V2 so I would not expect they would provide Eastech the funding for firmware upgrades. Maybe if were luck one of the other companies will step up.
