I have a FIRST generation LINK new in box.... BUT NO USB Stick Drive

Hello

Everyone...  Any suggestions ?   I tried d/l  1.3 but not sure if that is compatible with the first generation LINK .

Tried a image restore via Win XP .... FAILED on selfimage. saying write error...

tried Win 7 x86 same error.

tried Mac and on the dd command  it never finishes even after 3 hours do not get a prompt afterwards...

any suggestions would be great

First gens did have HDD as an option, are you sure it didn't come with a hard drive?

The USB keys we used were Crucial 4GB keys.  Make sure any USB drive you use is at least 4GB in size.
