Trying to use Neuros OSD IR blaster with a tuner box that uses a period (or dot) in the channel number (like 2.1, 4.2, 36.5, etc.).
Is there a way to learn "." during IR blaster setup? Then, if that worked how would one enter "." in the channel number, during record scheduling (which key on the remote control)?

For now the only workaround (partial) I could think about, is swapping "." with a rarely used digit, during IR setup. For example, the list of channels contains only a few using "8" in the number and I am not really interested in recording any of them. So, during IR blaster setup I could press "." instead of "8" and then remember to use "8" instead of "." when scheduling records.

Any suggestion appreciated. Thanks,

Your analysis is correct in terms of the workaround.  The OSD pre-dates the ATSC standard being used, and thus doesn't support subchannels.
