Close the case

Hello -- I was able to open up my backpack2  and replace the battery, but now I can't figure out how to close it -- any
pointer would be appreciated

Ha ... after an hour or so I got the case to close ....  I have a new issue ....  I found a battery for the unit that I bought years ago but
never installed ... I just did I had the unit on AC for a 2 hours now .... How long should the initial charge take? I am not sure if that
battery is still any good ....

Would it charge any faster if the unit was off and just charging?

I answered your support e-mail already, but for anyone else:

1) Everything charges faster when it is off.  (Assuming, of course, that it charges while off.)
2) The battery in the DAC is a required part of the circuit.  If the unit powers on, the battery is good at some level.  It may not hold enough charge to run while not plugged in, but it is at least not faulty.
3) 6-8 hours is a reasonable rule of thumb for first-time charging.
