Can I get a Keymap.xml?

I have an old (gamma release) Link. I've installed the latest Ubuntu & XBMC. It's working OK-- some audio dropouts during mp3 playback-- but overall it's passable right now.
I would like to get the media playback buttons on the keyboard to work. Can I get a copy of the keymap.xml from someone out there in Neuros-land?
I think I need it based on another post from about a year ago:
=========================================
Main keyboard definition is at this location:
/usr/share/xbmc/system/keymaps/keyboard.xml
The best thing to get an idea how it works is to open the file and have a look. These key definitions can be overridden by user definitions, at this location:
$home/.xbmc/userdata/keymaps/keyboard.xml
=========================================
TIA

The keyboard.xml is only for XBMC, and it *should* grab most of the media keys by default. In the rest of Ubuntu, the keys should already "just work".

The volume controls work, but Next, Previous, Stop & Pause do not. On the standard keyboard, that's these 4 keys:
. , X <space bar>
I can't get my wife to remember this stuff :-)
Heck, I can't remember it.

I am nuts. The keys are working fine. I un-ask the question.
