Dead or dying battery?

Hi,

Just looking for a confirmation before I open up the working OSD... I cut the power due to a nasty thunderstorm. Upon switching back on, the OSD's clock was out of whack. I don't know if time froze or went very slowly, but I think the power was off for around two hours, and that's about how much time the OSD lost.

That's the battery, right?

PS: A friend sent me a JTAG "wiggler". Looking forward to getting the dead OSD ready for a gentle poke. For now, and due to having some difficulty finding a source for whatever sort of plug/socket/header Neuros planned to use in the JTAG side, I might just solder in some hookup wires to jack into the wiggler...

Yup.  Lost time = battery.

Thanks. I'll change it tomorrow (err... today).

Some might also say, you know, that lost time is a symptom of getting old. Something I'm finding I can comprehend more and more.
