Any easy, cheap, "Radio Shack" solutions for making a Microphone pre-amp?

Radio shack had a small 9 volt Mixer that works just fine. I have found them on ebay for around ten bucks has four channel inputs in 1/4inch and lets you mix 4 into two  or for into one get two that 8 channels 
and also Do you have  a broken nerous that you would like to part with? I am looking for spares  Lost a display in one. I also lost a hard drive controller and a cpu board in  one swoop in another . I wll cover shipping  to take a chance on the one that  failed for you. contact me at wdshook@qwest.net and we can work somthing out.. Shocked thanks Walt
