I know it may be a bit early to know the answer to this but will the recorder work with the iPhone? The screen resolution is 320 by 480 and im guessing it will be using the Mpeg4 format

The iPhone will play any formats that the iPod Video can handle.

Chad is correct, and you can pick the settings you want, 320x240 30fps, or 368x208 and so on.

Have you tried it out already, if so how did it come out. Feedback will be awesome.

Hi,
I am switching from using a PSP to IPod Touch - any suggestions on best settings to use?
I know some of my mp4's had to be re-converted (eg with videora) to get it to work with the IPod Touch, so ideally if the Neuros Recorder can record into a format that the IPod Touch/itunes likes would be great!
Regards, Chris

I've used it with my Touch and video quality was only okay but that was because my Touch was having screen issues. I've sent my Touch to be repaired so when I get it back I'll see if there's a difference. Looking at the videos on my iPod video, the quality of the videos are very good so I'm expecting the same quality on my Touch. Unfortunatly, my Neuros is having some issues (humming sound in the videos) so I'm replacing it with a simular non-Neuros product. I had nothing but praise for the Recorder 2 a year ago, but with the 2 Hour recording limit and this humming noise, it has really put me off.

Also, I'd recommend recording in 320x480. For some reason, videos I have in 640x480 don't look that good but that could be because of the settings I've used (i.e I could of set it to Normal instead of Fine or Super Fine which are much better quality).

On the iPhone/iTouch, 320x240 or 640x480 will work, all though 640x480 will take up more space. But we recommend the quality to be Normal or higher.
