It will slpit to 2 files. the large 2Gbyte file is not playable by OSD, he tries but fails. Is playable in PC.

Seems as a 2G files ize limit problem.

Lacie 250GB USB drive FAT32 formated (had no choice)

Any tips or pre release firmware ?

Files bigger than 2Gb will be split in two files correct. This is due to limitations on the FAT 32 file format.

Yes it is in the work. The NTFS file system is more cumbersome than FAT 32 though, it will take some time to optimize the read/write features. I will let you know when we have a beta level support on it.

Actually only use the usb hard disc beacusei cant mount my password protected samba shares from my dlink dns-323, if you fix that one i will be happier.

Yes it splits the files but no problems with long recordins nor playback using a readynas, xp shares or Synology ds207.  Willl test against an SMC Tigerstore when I get a chance.
