Chart for size/space for different encoding settings

Hello, I was wondering if anybody knew of a chart which gives approximations of file sizes for the different encoding options.
I.E. TV = 1g per hr, ipod = 100mg per hour, psp = 200 mg per hour, etc...
Also, a detailed list like resolution 640x480, bitrate 2500, framerate 30 = 1g hour.
Anybody know of such a list?

File size only depend on "bit rate".
For example,
Video bitrate 768kbps + Audio bitrate 128kbps -> file size 400Mbyte/hour.
896(kbps)*3600(sec)=3225600(kbit)=403200(kbyte)=403.2(Mbyte)
if you use higher resolution(640x480 instead of 320x240),
or higher frame rate(30fps instead of 15fps),
the image quality of the movie get worse.
(but they do not affect the file size (theoretically))

True, but a handy guide giving estimates for the OSD's preset settings would be nice.

The bitrate determines the file size and also it depends on how much motion is in the video. Fer instance, a "talking head" news show would be smaller than Die Hard 4.
The resolution (aspect ratio) has nothing to do with file size. A 640X480 1200 bitrate is the same file size as a 320X240 12oo bitrate, although the 324X240 is only 1/4 the resolution. Right! So you might as well encode 640X480 in case you want to watch on the tv one day.
