Hi,

Just wondering if the album artwork is meant to show up on XMMS2 when a track is playing. If so, what file is the player looking for? Is it looking for a specific filename in order to display it?

I could be very wrong, but my guess is the album art embedded within each mp3 file (part of the ID3 headers).

I tried using Mp3Tag to add some album artwork but unfortunately nothing is displayed in XMMS2. Has anyone got that working or is this something thats in development?

Album art isn't working for me either. Maybe the feature isn't working yet.

You guessed right. It's not enabled yet.
It will be added in future releases, and info will be read from tag if present (for AAC, WMA and possibly MP3 with id3v2). Otherwise it will be read from some specially-named files in folders, if present.
Details still being worked out on when it will be available.

Cheers,
